The 2004 scratch league teams did particularly well with the first team finishing runners-up in the first league, the second team remaining in the top league after a particularly strong showing, and our third side doing well against the first and second teams of other clubs to retain its place in the third league.

As runners-up the first side represented Gauteng in the inter-region finals and competed against the top clubs from four other regions and walked away as the champions after convincing wins against all the teams. The team also played in the Etonic Central Gauteng Inter-club championships and again Wanderers triumphed with a record margin finishing no less than 17 shots better than the second placed team.
