Members are reminded that the stroking of the course was changed on the 1st of March 2012. Attached is a copy of the new scorecard. The Wanderers Golf Club Website course information has been updated, and all holes can be viewed using the new Pocket Caddie pictures. The strokes have also been updated as shown on the new scorecard.

THE SAMS CAPTAIN CORNER Golf on a Saturday morning at Wanderers is anything but ordinary. It is the place where good golf, not so good golf and everything in between is guaranteed. SAMS is the place where its members enjoy their golf through fun, laughs and mischievous ways with fellow SAMS members. Good morning Ladies and Gents, The Wanderers Club took part in the recent CGGU Mid Am Teams tournament played at Modderfontein Golf Club on Sunday 26th February 2012. This event is a strokeplay event and is played over 36 holes in one day. The Club was represented by Shaun Stapleton (Stapes), Darran Warner (Dark Wing), Bernie Wands (Wands) and Gary Eccles (Smokey). The event was supported by 21 teams from various Clubs, some of whom entered more than one team. Most of the who’s who in CGGU Mid Am golf were in attendance and some great scores were made, the top two individual players each shooting a combined total of 8 under par over their two rounds. Hello boys! The CGGU Closed Championships were held recently and look who won the Mid Am section – our very own, Sean (Stapes) Stapleton! Shot 70 – great golf Stapes!
